Roark works full time in the tech sector. It's one of the reasons why technology always finds a way into his writing.

At home, he's a father to three high-energy boys. Together with his wife, he spends a lot of his time watching his children at hockey arenas, the soccer pitch, and the pool.

​

Whenever he has time to come up for air, he's either working on his next novel, chipping away at a project around the house, or sneaking in a nap when his wife isn't looking.

He's happy to call northern Ontario his home.
